Chryssa Angelopoulos Not as sweet creamy and smooth as the OG I would say this is in a slightly similar DNA but definitely not a 1:1 for guerlain. Jalus I get a nice unique smoky rose on skin, a touch of almond and raspberry but not the same notes and blend as the OG, and I can’t really detect any oud - just a smokiness, which is not present in the OG. I don’t get any sandalwood in Jalus. The OG has a softness and warmth with a slightly woody and creamy almond undertone - which is missing from this. Overall, not bad, but not really in the same realm. Understandable as guerlains fragrances are in a league of their own, but appreciate that Jalu gives it a go and without them we wouldn’t have anything to compare. Jalus should be judged in its own right.
